Last blog of 2013

This year comes to a close as a new one begins. There have been many ups and downs. Trials and tribulations have proven once again that no one is immune.  We have songs to remember and movies we can't forget. This is the last day to make good memories for the year. I'm going to close this blog with a haiku.

The end of the year
Is finally here at last
Make good decisions.

A New Sonnet

Sonnet

With treasures flowing down from above,
my hope is to be as loyal as the dove.
Every smile to melt the cold cold heart;
I steer towards happiness as you do your part.

Winter dreams have come and gone,
yet still I'm waiting to take you home.
Let us begin a new journey closer to bliss;
free from uncertainty and sealed with a kiss.

Shall I win the heart that can't be won
Will my crusade of love ever be done?
Or will you just flee forever from my sight
Leaving me lonely and abandoned in the night

Though I must urge on, I also remain still
Praying you are apart of His divine will.

Justice Served

Finally after a seven month long toil justice has been served. It's been a crazy year to say the least. My name has been cleared of something I never committed. I can now breathe and enjoy what's left of this year. I feel like a new me all over again. It's exciting to know that if God is for you then no one can be against you. I forgive and I forget. Respect must still be earned. I'm keeping this short just to say thankfully I am still here and I am happy.

My pretty-eyed wonder

My pretty-eyed wonder
Looking for a knight in armor
Chivalry is what I bring to you
Your smile holds great value

You and I can be a good team
I promise I'm exactly what I seem
If you like coffee and conversation
Maybe we can create a new relation

I am one who wears his heart on his sleeve
No fake persona just real as I can be
As true to my word I do lay claim
To make you happy and ease your pain.

Breathing Fire

Breathing Fire

I am the fire that burns the same one that keeps you warm. I can choose to destroy you or keep you away from harm. I'm the adrenaline of a dragon. The fuel of his breath. I seek to destroy falsehoods. And make sure no fake people are left. Getting onward with my journey the truth has arrived. It should soon get better once I've verified. The opening I seek may be waiting for me. Once I locate the crown I will have everything. The friends I've lost were never true. The fire has burned them, that's the card they drew. I'm moving up and there's no stopping me now. The air in my wings and the heat on my brow. The mystery lies in the fire from which up was born. A real life dragon setting ablaze a world so torn.

Destroying a Symbol

I wonder if the powers that be would change the way they do things if one of their precious monuments were destroyed. Buildings literally stand for something. They are supposed to be symbols with great value and meaning. So, now we have puppets putting on a show for us. Feeding us poison and lies. The man running things is not really in control. He pushes forward an agenda that is not his own. This does not excuse his actions. Why sell your soul? What else would you put a price on? You have taken away the peoples right to choose which is the very thing that makes us human. Most people don't even care. I guess they prefer being zombies. The few out there will eventually band together and do something powerful. A statement must be made. Maybe someone will finally rise up with a brilliant idea. Perhaps some hero or heroine will rescue us from this misery. Even though in this day and age bravery gets you labeled a terrorist or unpatriotic. You can't even speak out against corruption anymore. It's time for a real change. One that will take major precedence and set the tone for a free nation. Let's go back to the spirit of 1776. The declaration of independence and the constitution should not be used as toilet paper. They should instead be the foundation of what we stand for. So, you can go ahead and try to kill us all but you will never kill our ideas and the principles for which we stand.
